Each morning we go for a run (sometimes a walk) and we have a deal...Mommy runs/walks, and then on the way home, we stop off at the playground behind the church across the street from our house and play! We swing, slide, and climb. Until now, Jack has only used the steps to climb up to the slide but this week, he decided to try climbing up what we call "the beanstalk"...a pole with leaflike steps and a gap at the top to climb over when going to the main structure. He's been scared to do it but now, my big boy tried it! We were both so excited and proud!!!
Little Sister has had her share of adventure too! She is learning to climb stairs, and she loves climbing the stairs on the playground and she is QUICK!
It's been so fun to have this routine with the kids, and now that preschool and my part time job are starting, we can have our run and play routine in the afternoons!
