Just a sample of the quotes heard in my classroom today. Our school was a precinct for the NC primaries:
My Mommy is going to vote for A-Rock Ra-Bomma today. Do you know who he is?
What about George Washington? I think George Washington needs to be the President again. He was good. Can we vote for him?
My Mommy said we need to alsways (sic) vote for the "Defense". Some people are "Republicans"and the others are the "Defense", or is that right?
Only 13 more years and they can vote...
